Do you have experience in logistics as an orderpicker, or are you eager to gain it? Then this is the job for you! In this role as an orderpicker, you play a vital part in making sure supermarkets are fully stocked with a wide range of products. Before the items hit the shelves, you've already handled them in the distribution center.
In this position, you'll be involved in various general logistics tasks. Using a voice-pick system, you'll collect specific products and quantities from the shelves for different supermarkets. You'll pack the goods carefully to prevent any damage, after which the filled roll containers are picked up and delivered to the dispatch department.
Although you'll be collecting orders using an order picking truck, the products must still be placed on the truck manually. That means you need to be physically fit and capable of doing manual work. What kind of products and weights can you expect? This warehouse handles fast-moving goods like wine, crates of beer, cat food, chips, and high-demand items like hand soap pumps.
Both parttime and fulltime work are possible in this role, but availability for one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) is required.
