At Mammoet, we’re seeking a Global Tax Manager to join our tax team. In this new role, you will report to the Head of Tax and will work together with another Global Tax Manager, three Regional Tax Managers, a Tax Accountant and an Indirect Tax Advisor, steering the company through the ever-growing tax landscape. This role is perfect for a tax lawyer with transfer pricing skills.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING- Advising the business on direct tax matters and transfer pricing including, but not limited to:
- corporate income tax
- permanent establishments
- transfer pricing
- indirect tax / VAT
- withholding tax
- cost avoidance and cash flow savings initiative
- tax audits and dispute resolution
- tax risk management and control.
- Supporting the Regional Tax Managers and taking the initiative to centralize Transfer Pricing documentation requirements.
- Supporting the Indirect Tax Manager with the implementation of the new SAP S/4HANA system and the Dutch and foreign VAT compliance.
- Supporting the Tax Accountant with the monthly and annual tax reporting compliances as well as the Dutch corporate income tax return.
- Supporting on various M&A-projects.
- Training of regional and local financial controllers in respect of tax and tax accounting.
- Maintaining a close relationship and strong cooperation between the finance and tax departments in the Netherlands and other Mammoet offices globally.
- Taking awareness of possible changes in laws and regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the tax department, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and implement best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Tax Law or Tax Economics or a related field.
- 5 years of broad tax experience, with an appetite for tax accounting and compliance.
- Inhouse experience and experience with IFRS and SAP S/4HANA is an asset.
- Potential to develop and progress into a more senior role.
- Tax technology experience or savviness is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Good collaboration skills with peers, the business and senior level executives.
