We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead our accounting function. This role will manage the accounting team, ensure accurate and timely month‑end close processes, coordinate statutory reporting & financial audits, and maintain the integrity of our financial systems. A strong ability to navigate and resolve system‑related issues is essential.

• Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.
• Oversee and guide month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant regulations.
• Coordinate and manage statutory reporting for multiple legal entities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for auditors, proactively managing timelines, addressing audit requests, and ensuring audits are completed on schedule.
• Proactively identify, manage, and resolve system‑related issues across accounting processes, ensuring stability and data integrity.
• Maintain and optimize accounting systems and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records by overseeing and strengthening end‑to‑end processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Collaborate with Finance BP team, Tax and other departments to support reporting and analysis.
• Identify process improvements and implement best practices where possible.

• Proven experience in a senior accounting role (Head of Accounting, Financial/Group Controller, Senior accountant or similar).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/Dutch GAAP and regulatory compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with month‑end close and financial reporting.
• Deep experience with ERP/accounting systems and ability to resolve complex system issues (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Chartered Accountant qualification (or equivalent) preferred.
