As a Front Office Host, you are the one inviting our guests in, providing them with your widest smile and warmest "welcome." The Front Office is more than just checking a guest in and out; it’s up to you to treat the guest with the real voco™ lifestyle experience. You'll guide them through the hotel and all there is to enjoy in Ultramarijn and Botanica. As a true host, you know that The Hague has many hidden secrets, whether it's a landmark of historical value or a tiny boutique shop. Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction through active communication with guests before, during, and after their stay.
Ensure the quality of the hotel product is always at the highest possible level.
Make sure all procedures are followed according to voco™ brand standards and IHG guidelines.
Work systematically according to a checklist that includes all tasks for the Front Desk.
Ensure all procedures regarding safety and security are followed closely.
Communicate all pertinent information related to the expected arrival and departure of VIPs and key guests, and ensure all special guest requests are communicated to the right departments.
Promote teamwork and lifestyle service through daily communication and coordination with other teams.
Work in various shifts including morning, day, evening, and night shifts on weekdays and weekends.
Live the voco™ brand with pride, passion, and energy, inspiring others to deliver memorable branded guest experiences.
Perform ad-hoc duties as required – those unexpected moments when we have to pull together as a team to get a task done.
Did you bring everything?
- Passion for hospitality.
- Knowledge of PMS system Opera is an advantage.
- Experience in operations within a hospitality environment.
- Time and task-management, creativity and presentation skills.
- Pro-active attitude and eye for detail with a natural drive for continuous improvement.
- A naturally outgoing and friendly personality with a passion for service excellence in order to consistently deliver and demonstrate voco™ service standards to our voco® guests.
- A true “team-player” mentality and flexible attitude towards a diverse set of tasks.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and in English. Another language is always a plus.
