Job title: Data Analyst – Expert
Work location: BRUXELLES
Experience: at least 6 yrs of exp in data Analytics.
Work Mode Expectation: 50% on site & 50% WFH
Description
Mission context: A DATA Engineer is a key contributor in preparing and making data
available in a safe and secure manner, for multiple usages by Businesses and
Functions, and for multiple purposes – reporting, analytics and/or applications. He
contributes to potentially big productivity for all Data Consumers – i.e. People
consuming or using the data - of the Businesses and Functions, by delivering well
designed and running Data Assets, to be used bank-wide and for global usage, or within
a specific Business or Function for specific local needs and usages.
Function description
Your main objectives are:
• To collect business requirements through various requirements techniques
• To translate them into an efficient Data solution by designing data flows, data
models and data stores/data sets, mapping rules, access mechanisms
• To analyze the best “golden” sources of data and define the business and
technical rules on how to integrate them
• To prototype the solution in order to support the business validation
• To design and develop the “logical” and “physical” data models and data stores,
and to industrialize the feeding and deliveries from the integrated data stores
(datawarehouse, datamarts, data sets).
• To streamline these data pipelines across the enterprise, for maximum usage
throughout the company or business/function
Language requirements:
Dutch: Fluent
French: Fluent
English: Fluent
Education: You have at least a Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline, such as
statistics, mathematics or engineering.
Candidates with other academic backgrounds with substantial knowledge of analytics
are also encouraged to apply).
Certification: Certification in SAS EG, SAP, Tableau or related technologies are a
plus
Technical experience:
• SAS EG, SQL, Oracle are mandatory
• Python, Power BI, Excel, Sharepoint, Tableau are preferrable.
Business experience mandatory: Prior experience in banking and data
analytics, project management
Preferable:
• Soft skills, Team player
• Quick self-starter, pro-active attitude
• Good Communication and Influencing skills
• Good analytical and synthesis skills
• Autonomy, commitment and perseverance
• Ability to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment
