- Set and ensure minimum standards to satisfy Food Safety and Quality requirements
- Manage specification system requirements for ready to eat and drinks that are prepared in store.
- Minimize Food Safety and Quality issues by proactively identifying threats and opportunities for JDE Peet’s subsidiary companies

We're on the lookout for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can juggle multiple stakeholder perspectives with ease. If you have a background in food science, technology, or nutrition, and a solid understanding of food microbiology, we want to hear from you! Ideally, you've got at least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
We can give you a list of “must haves”, however that’s not how we view your candidacy. We do, of course, take into consideration how much experience you have with auditing and managing food safety risks but ultimately we look at the bigger picture. But to give you a bit of guidance as to what we feel is needed in this role, we’ll share our “nice to have” list with you:
- Ability to plan, set & manage own work aligned with expectations and needs.
- Have a sound knowledge of food pathogens and spoilage and interested to learn more
- Able to make critical decisions based upon analysis, wisdom, experience and judgement, often with ambiguous or incomplete information.
