Your role in our shared journeyLocated at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll contribute to our mission by leading the logistics team to deliver exceptional operational excellence across inbound and outbound delivery processes. In this role, you'll drive strategic improvements whilst ensuring optimal service to our customers, and collaborate cross-functionally to optimise the entire supply chain, representing the logistics function at the highest organisational levels.
Your role will be instrumental in weaving the fabric of our movement, bringing unique perspectives and driving innovation with every step.
Your key responsibilities- Oversee and manage both inbound and outbound delivery processes to ensure seamless logistics operations at ASICS Europe BV.
- Deliver optimal service levels to both internal and external customers whilst maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
- Translate complex business requirements into effective logistics improvement programmes that drive operational efficiency.
- Support the Logistics Manager in executing strategic initiatives and revising network setup configurations to meet organisational objectives.
- Engage confidently with senior stakeholders across the organisation to influence global decision-making in complex operational environments.
- Lead and develop a team of operationally-focused logistics specialists to achieve performance targets and distribution objectives.
- Represent the logistics function in cross-functional forums to optimise end-to-end supply chain processes through collaborative working.
- Operational leadership and team management capabilities.
- Stakeholder engagement and communication skills at senior levels.
- Strategic thinking and implementation abilities.
- Continuous improvement and process optimisation expertise.
- Relevant logistics or supply chain management experience.
- Strong operational knowledge on all logistic processes (sea/air/road)
- Solid understanding of customs regulations would be a bonus
