Over de functie As a Forklift operator, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods at our modern terminal in Houten. Your day-to-day tasks will involve a mix of physical and logistical activities, including loading and unloading trucks, moving goods within the warehouse, and ensuring shipments are handled efficiently and accurately. Working in a 3-shift system, you’ll collaborate with a team of dedicated colleagues to meet tight schedules and maintain high standards of quality. This role requires a valid forklift certificate, physical fitness, and a proactive attitude to keep up with the dynamic pace of the logistics industry.

What You Will Do:

• Loading and unloading trucks to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
• Moving goods within the warehouse using a forklift and other tools.
• Scanning and checking shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Organizing and securing goods to ensure safe transport.
• Collaborating with colleagues to maintain an efficient workflow in a 3-shift system.

• An hourly wage starting from €15.61
• A temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position
• A full-time role of 40 hours per week
• Work at a modern terminal in Houten
• 30% shift allowance for work after 6:00 PM and 00:00 AM
• A quick response to your application within 24 hours on working days

Functie-eisen

• A valid forklift certificate is a plus;
• Experience in logistics environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Physically fit to handle warehouse tasks, including lifting.
• Living near Houten, Nieuwegein, or Utrecht is essential.
• Comfortable working in a rotating 3-shift system.
