About the roleAre you a hands-on leader who loves building great software and guiding a team to success? At our Assen office, you’ll step into a dynamic environment where 10 talented engineers are divided into two teams. One team already has a Lead in place — and now we’re looking for an enthusiastic Lead Engineer to take charge of the second team.

Your responsibilities- Leading a team of 3–4 software engineers and acting as their first point of contact for technical and organizational matters.
- Actively contributing to the development of our software and not being afraid to get your hands dirty.
- Contributing to the further professionalization of our development processes, while monitoring the quality, planning, and progress of your team.

Our tech stack & methodologyDomain Driven Design, CQRS, Service-Oriented Architecture, REST, .NET (Core), MVC, Entity Framework, MS SQL Server, Redis, Razor, GIT, Azure.
Qualifications- You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in (Technical) Computer Science or a related field or relevant work experience
- You have extensive experience as a .NET developer and are up to date with the latest trends and developments in the field.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in software development and preferably experience in leading or mentoring engineers.
- You are a strong communicator, take initiative, and know how to motivate and guide teams.
- Experience in the energy sector is a plus but not required.
- You are eager to learn, think along about architecture and scalability, and enjoy contributing to a product with societal impact.
