As a Senior Consultant IT Risk & Control at PwC, you play a crucial role in supporting our financial sector clients in managing their IT risks. You are pivotal in identifying opportunities to improve their digital chain and managing risks, helping them strengthen their IT environment to ensure continuity and compliance. You conduct detailed risk analyses, optimize processes, and provide specialized advice on technology and automation. You ensure clients will independently comply with standards such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2 and frameworks like COBIT, in line with regulations such as DORA and GDPR. You are part of an inclusive and diverse team that offers sustainable client solutions.

As a Senior Consultant IT Risk & Control, your responsibilities include:

• Assessment and optimization: Analyze and improve IT processes and systems to identify and mitigate risks.
• Development of risk frameworks: Work in multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive IT risk frameworks and ensure compliance with changing regulations.
• Insightful reporting: Develop and present reports and dashboards that provide insights into IT risks and controls to clients and stakeholders.
• Coaching and guidance: Coach junior colleagues and share knowledge of the latest IT trends and control mechanisms.
• Client relationships and innovation: Maintain strong client relationships and encourage the development of digital solutions, including AI initiatives.

• You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience developing and implementing IT risk management and control mechanisms;
• You understand the importance of risk management and controls within organizations;
• You are interested in the latest technologies and quickly adapt to them;
• You have completed a WO master's degree in a field such as Information Management, Computer Science, Business Information Management, Technical Business Administration, or comparable IT and business-oriented study;
• You potentially have acquired accreditations in IT risk management, CISA, CISM, etc;
• You have experience with COBIT, GDPR, etc;
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and English and easily adapt to changing work environments;
• Experience and knowledge of (IT) laws and regulations related to the financial sector is a plus.
