What to expect
You will oversee the daily breakfast operations in Restaurant JAQ. You ensure everything runs efficiently, from preparing the setup to welcoming our guests with a smile and leading your team throughout the morning. You support the Venue Manager in training the team, maintaining Hilton standards, and creating a positive and motivating work atmosphere. Working hours are usually between 05:00 and 16:00, and a shift is normally 8 hours. You will also coordinate with other departments, such as the kitchen and Front Office, to make sure of a smooth guest experience!
Who are you?
You are a hands-on and proactive team player with strong communication skills and a natural sense of responsibility. You thrive in an international environment and enjoy taking initiative to improve daily operations. You recognize yourself in the following:
Previous experience in Food & Beverage or hospitality, ideally in a supervisory or senior waiter role.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus (the more languages you speak, the better!).
A flexible mindset; available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Passionate about breakfast service, detail-oriented, and guest-focused.
You enjoy motivating others and contributing to a positive team spirit.
Basic food safety knowledge is great, but we will teach you the rest.
What do we offer?
A fulltime contract (38 hours per week)
Salary in salary scale V of the Horeca collective labor agreement.
25 paid holiday days per full year (on the basis of 38 hours per week)
Travel allowance according to the Hilton Rotterdam scheme, if you live further than 5km away from the hotel.
