For the Global Business Project Organization (BPO) departments, DHL Express is looking for a motivated and results-oriented colleague who can support to develop and administer the processes, tools and techniques in deployments projects that are included in the BPO roadmap in close cooperation with the project manager.
About BPO
Our Global Business Project Organization (BPO) team has a global scope and is divided in three pools of people: Project Management, Business Analysts and Service Quality. Globally our team has approximately 100 members, based in 3 locations being Maastricht, Kuala Lumpur and Costa Rica. Our Project Manager and Business Analyst teams focus on deploying various systems, processes and tools across the Express Finance Organization, with several projects now touching other functions such as Operations, Pricing and Sales. Our Service Quality team, focuses on change management throughout the project lifecycle, performance management supporting the realization of the anticipated benefits, compliance services and issue resolution services. Working within BPO is quite challenging as we are active within multiple functional areas within the DHL Express organization and strongly focused on digitalization and automation (data science, robotics). How will you contribute to the success of DHL?
As a Business Analyst you will execute and professionalize Business Analysis services in project that are part of the BPO roadmap. You are responsible for reviewing end-to-end assigned business processes to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks and implications. Your focus on continuous improvement, innovation and identifying improvement opportunities within every project will be fundamental to the success of the role. Your responsibilities include assisting countries and project managers to guarantee service and project success, through working closely with all relevant parties to gain in-depth understanding of processes, services, applications, roadmaps and the context in which the businesses operate. Understanding and documenting capabilities are needed to address business challenges, continuous improvement and automation.
- Design, communicate and implement excellent business analysis services;
- Ensuring user community within project scope are engaged and mobilized;
- Support implementation of analysis of an organization or business domain and document its business, processes and/ or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology;
- Actively assist with execution of gap analysis, identifying project requirements and follow-up until completion;
- Assisting with coordination of testing and follow up;
- Supporting with knowledge transfer, training, and documentation creation (Job Aids);
- Data gathering & analysis;
- Deliver and administer implementation of support model.
Do you have what it takes?
- Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent, ideally in a related field (such as Finance, IT or business);
- Solid Finance process knowledge (OTC, FA area);
- Beneficial to possess experience/ certifications in Project Management, LEAN, Six Sigma or First Choice;
- Analytical skills, able to think and act with a cross-organizational and cross-process approach;
- Excellent communication and presentational skills;
- Some working experience in a Project Management, Business Analysis and/ or Stakeholder Management type of role;
- Beneficial to have a digital mindset with experience in automated Project Management solutions.
