We’re now looking for a proactive, structured, and hands-on GL Accountant to join our Finance team and help us keep our multi-entity operations running smoothly.

As our GL Accountant, you are the owner of the financial accuracy for 35+ international entities across the Netherlands, UK, Germany, Israel, and the US. Your main responsibility is to ensure all financial data is correctly recorded, reconciled, and ready for reporting so the business can trust its numbers.

You will handle the full general ledger cycle: from journal entries and bank bookings to month-end close, reconciliations, and preparing supporting documentation. You’ll work closely with the AR/AP team, controllers, and auditors to keep our books clean, compliant, and up-to-date.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys structure, loves diving into details, and feels comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. You’ll have a big impact on the quality of our financial reporting and the stability of our finance operations.

• Manage day-to-day closing activities for assigned entities under Dutch GAAP
• Run monthly closing tasks, financial analyses, and reporting
• Prepare or review balance sheet & P&L variance analyses
• Work with the team on invoicing for part of our customers
• Perform bank bookings and prepare journal entries
• Own reconciliations for assigned accounts and resolve reconciling items quickly
• Support the Finance team during the annual external audit
• Identify inefficiencies, help improve processes, and support overall finance operations

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in international accounting
• Strong GL/AR/AP knowledge and multi-currency bookkeeping experience
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a nice bonus)
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills
• Very structured, detail-oriented, and organized
• Able to work well under pressure and keep deadlines
• Positive, proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
