Are you an analytically strong financial professional with experience in cost accounting and variance analysis? Do you have an affinity for an international manufacturing environment and enjoy working with SAP? Then this position is for you! 

This role involves maintaining the general ledger of actual costs, product cost calculation, coordinating the updating of production rates, variance analysis, and month-end closing activities. You are responsible for coordinating and controlling operational cost activities worldwide. You monitor and analyze material costs and production prices at the item level, including labor and overhead costs. Month-end closing activities will also be performed, including variance analysis, cost center assessments, and balance reconciliations.

To strengthen the Accounting team, they are looking for a Cost Accountant who combines financial insight with a proactive and accurate work attitude.

Wie ben je?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 
• 5-10 years of experience in Cost Accounting
• Technical knowledge of SAP (CO-OM, CO-PC, CO-PA)
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of German and/or Dutch is a plus
