As an upcoming operator in the Scent department at International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) in Tilburg, you will play a key role in creating fragrance components used in products worldwide, such as detergents, cosmetics, and perfumes. Working in a modern and clean environment, you’ll be part of a team that values precision, collaboration, and safety. Using a mobile weighing station, you’ll process raw materials into high-quality fragrance products while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. This role offers the opportunity to grow into an allround operator while working in a 5-shift system.
What You Will Do:
- Collecting: raw materials based on recipes using a mobile weighing station.
- Weighing: and processing ingredients with precision, sometimes handling up to 30 components per batch.
- Mixing: and preparing fragrance materials for further production stages.
- Operating: and monitoring equipment to ensure smooth production processes.
- Maintaining: a safe, clean, and organized workspace while following all safety and quality regulations.
What do we offer you?
- An hourly wage of €20.69, plus a 30% shift allowance(≈ €3,900 gross per month)
- A temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position
- A workweek of 33 to 40 hours in a 5-shift system
- 25 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance
- 13 ADV (reduction of working hours) days and a 13th-month bonus, paid via a flexible budget
- Travel allowance of €0.21 per kilometer

At Start People, we apply the principle of equal pay. This means that your employment conditions fully align with those of colleagues who are directly employed by IFF. In addition to the hourly wage, this includes vacation days, shift allowances, ADV compensation, and other wage components.
Functie-eisen- Good command of Dutch and/or English (minimum level B2)
- Experience as a production employee or operator with a minimum of 2 years
- Accurate and detail-oriented, with no objection to physical work up to 25 kg
- Willingness to work in a 5 shift system
- Comfortable working with fragrances and chemical substances
