About the Role
The Business Desk is the core hub of grant management for EIT Climate-KIC. The Grant Management Business Partner will work collaboratively with the Business Desk team to ensure EIT Climate-KIC consistently meets funder obligations and expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and continuously improve the governance and processes to manage an effective and compliant Business Desk service covering end-to-end grant management.
- Manage evolving external funder requirements, policies, regulations, and procedures.
- Identify training and capability needs for the team.
- Implement and maintain effective systems, tools, and processes to support grant delivery.
- Co-ordinate engagement for policy and process development with relevant stakeholders.
- Focus on continuous improvement of the Business Desk function.
Key Working Relationships
- Delivery teams across EIT Climate-KIC
- Other enabling services teams including Community Desk, Legal, Procurement, and Finance
- Public and private funders
- EIT Climate-KIC partner community
About You
Qualifications:
- A relevant academic degree or professional qualification is desirable.
- A project management qualification is desirable.
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in public and/or private funding environments.
- Experience working with EU and international grant programmes.
- Demonstrated experience in grant administration.
- Operational experience including budgeting, financial administration, and project management.
- Interest in climate change.
Skills:
- Fluent in English; fluency in other European languages is an asset.
- Experience with collaborative IT applications.
- Strong communication and analytical capabilities.
- Customer service ethos and commitment to continuous improvement.
