Basic‑Fit is growing fast in Germany and Austria and continuously adds new clubs. As Legal Counsel you will be part of a seasoned legal team, serving as a trusted advisor to our international business colleagues.
Responsibilities- Advise the international German and Austrian expansion team, the real estate team, and operations on their legal questions.
- Draft and review commercial contracts and advise international support departments.
- Identify risk and work with the business to establish and maintain legal processes.
- Handle claims, liabilities, consumer law, and other legal matters relevant to Germany and Austria, cooperating with colleagues in other regions.
- Support the second brand Clever Fit in Germany with franchise matters, such as contracting, claims, and litigation.
- Participate in acquisitions and real estate matters, including lease agreements.
- Respond to operational, consumer, or franchise questions as they arise.
- Completed law degree, ideally from a university in Germany or Austria.
- Native German and fluent English.
- Minimum 6 years of legal experience as a lawyer or in‑house counsel.
- Experience with acquisitions, real‑estate law, and/or contract law.
- Experience with consumer law and/or franchise is advantageous.
