Are you ready to roll up your sleeves in the dynamic world of logistics? As a Logistics Assistant, you are the essential link in the warehouse process. You combine physical work with administrative accuracy and ensure that every shipment leaves the building flawlessly. You kickstart your workday with a cup of coffee and a short briefing, after which you immediately hit the ground running to process incoming goods and prepare orders for shipment. No day is the same, but your focus on quality remains constant.
You will be employed directly by our client. Initially, you will work at the Schiphol location, after which you will move to the brand-new facility in Nieuw-Vennep around late April. You will work in a great team with rotating shifts (07:30–16:00 and 09:30–18:00), ensuring your weekend always starts on time!
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading trucks with utmost precision.
- Scanning incoming and outgoing goods for error-free registration.
- Processing all goods flows in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Preparing international shipments for transport.
- Performing sharp quality checks on all products.
- Labeling and correctly sorting goods.
- Ensuring a safe and strictly organized work environment.
- An enthusiastic colleague with an MBO level of thinking and working.
- Experience in logistics or air cargo is a major advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- In possession of a forklift and/or reach truck certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Experience with MS Office for administrative tasks.
- Available full-time (40 hours) and flexible regarding working hours.
- A positive VGB (Statement of No Objection) is a requirement before starting.
- A direct contract with our client with the prospect of a permanent position.
- A gross monthly salary between €2,800 and €3,000, based on your experience.
