The Housekeeping Turndown Agent is responsible for providing evening housekeeping services to ensure guest rooms are prepared for a comfortable night's rest. This includes tidying the room, replenishing supplies, and creating a welcoming ambiance. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
Responsibilities
Perform evening turndown service, including:
Turning down the bed, arranging pillows, and placing decorative items.
Emptying trash bins and replacing liners.
Refreshing towels and bathroom amenities.
Replenishing room supplies, such as water, snacks, and toiletries.
Tidying up the room, ensuring it is clean and organized.
Ensure all guest requests and preferences are met with attention to detail.
Check for and report any maintenance issues or damage in the guest rooms.
Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
Provide excellent customer service by promptly and courteously responding to guest inquiries and requests.
Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and service are maintained.
Maintain confidentiality of guest information and adhere to hotel policies.
Requirements
Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and their safe usage.
