As Steward you will responsible for the following duties:
Washing all hotel china, silverware, glassware, service ware, and cookware;
Cleanliness of all food service serving pieces and related cookware and tools;
Maintaining the cleanliness of culinary equipment and areas;
Sorting of food and beverage waste into proper streams for disposal and recycling;
Transporting dishes, glasses, silverware, and serving pieces throughout the hotel as instructed;
Knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation rules and guidelines.
As Steward, we expect from you:
Minimum of 2 years in a similar position, hotel experience strongly preferred;
Spoken and reading proficiency in the English language;
Able to walk and stand for entirety of shift;
Able to regularly lift, push, and pull heavy weights;
Flexible scheduling availability to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
