Main purpose of the job:

The Maintenance Planner is part of the planning team and is responsible for an effective and efficient execution of maintenance at site Amsterdam. This is to ensure plant availability and to comply with applicable standards and legislation.

The maintenance team provides its services to the various operating companies. The Planning team consists of 3 planners and 1 technical purchaser and plays a key role to ensure the optimal functioning of the technical installed base. This installed base consists of plant equipment and utilities: steam boilers, heat exchangers, nitrogen supply, water treatment, compressed air and associated pipework.

About the job

• Drawing up maintenance concepts based on the results of the risk analyzes i.s.w. Involved specialists.

• Translate the maintenance plan into inspection plans, in line with the technical multi-year and annual plan, including Coordination of RBI inspection plan of Tanks;

• Determining the nature and scope of the work to be performed based on the maintenance management system (Ultimo), determination of the urgency and work sequence as well as input from the various professional disciplines;

• Estimate required costs, man hours and lead time;

• Aligning the maintenance planning with production, outside companies, suppliers, governments and relevant authorities;

• Elaborating the activities in work schedules, material requirements, input of specialists, taking into account legislation and regulations in the field of safety and maintenance;

• Collecting drawings, schedules, documentation and determining the necessary permits;

• Request quotes for materials and services from third parties and manage the Requisition to Pay process.

• Ensure the presence of parts, special tools, etc.;

• Advising on modifications, improvements of working methods.

• Ensure safe work execution by preparing accurate PTW, TRA, LOTOTO and coordination/supervision on the job.

You recognize yourself in the following competences: accurate, critical, systematic, communicative & independent. In addition, you have:

• A completed Bachelor degree in Maintenance Planning or Mechanical or Electrical;

• Planning experience gained in a manufacturing or FMCG environment;

• Oil & Gas industry and/or Energy Plants and/or Chemical Plants experience is an advantage;

• Able to read DWG (CAD) drawings and P&ID’s;

• Experience of working with maintenance planning tool (Ultimo) and Oracle or ERP systems;

• Experience in planning of shutdowns;

• Experience of using Excel to advanced level;

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
