Senior Product Development Manager

Besides specializing in therapeutic food and infant formula, they collaborate in researching several diseases to make patient`s life easier with their products.

We are seeking a Senior Product Development Manager to join the Specialized Nutrition division. This role is pivotal in shaping and delivering the category pipeline while ensuring products meet consumer expectations, scientific and health standards, regulatory requirements, and cost/value objectives. Acting as a technological leader, you will drive innovation and execution excellence across cross-functional teams.

• Leading the design, development, and delivery of the category pipeline, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
• Representing SN R&I in cross-functional teams, serving as the technological expert and key voice in decision-making.
• Guaranteeing that formulations adhere to robust design principles, implement risk mitigation strategies, and maintain accurate documentation aligned with SN R&I processes.
• Mentoring and supporting other Product Design & Development Managers, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Building strong relationships across departments and managing stakeholders effectively to ensure seamless collaboration.

• Master’s or PhD in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in product development or R&I within specialized nutrition, with proven resilience in dynamic environments.
• Strong technological expertise in specialized nutrition and proficiency with product design and development tools.
• Solid understanding of quality, food safety, and regulatory frameworks relevant to the category.
• Knowledge of qualification and validation processes.
• Demonstrated ability in project management, problem-solving, and analytical decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective relationships across functions and levels.
• Business acumen, proactive mindset, and adaptability to change.
• Comfortable working in an international, multidisciplinary organization and willing to travel as needed.
