- As Senior Structural Analyst, you will work within a naval and structural engineering team in a maritime engineering organization. You will contribute to both basic and detailed engineering within your field of expertise and be involved throughout the full project lifecycle—from the proposal phase to yard support and vessel delivery.
- You will be responsible for developing structural designs and performing relevant calculations, considering aspects such as strength, stiffness, vibrations, producibility, and maintainability. In doing so, you will ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards and client requirements.
- In addition, you may contribute to research and development initiatives and participate in process improvement activities within the structural analysis discipline.

- As Senior Structural Analyst, your main responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality engineering work within agreed timeframes and budgets, in line with applicable quality standards.
- Developing and documenting standards and working methods to improve processes and methodologies.
- Supporting the engineering of outsourced packages, including design checks and design reviews.
- Ensuring full compliance with requirements set by regulatory bodies and clients.
- Integrating vendor and subcontractor information and performing technical evaluations of quotations.
- Collaborating closely with internal departments, suppliers, classification societies, and clients to integrate delivered components and systems into ship designs.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least five years of experience with ship structures as a Senior Structural Analyst in the shipbuilding or offshore industry.
- Familiarity with ship classification calculations and tools such as DNV Nauticus Hull, LR-SSC, or BV MARS2000.
- Proficiency in FEM modelling and analysis software such as ANSYS, NX, or FEMAP, as well as experience with 3D CAD systems like NUPAS, 3DEXPERIENCE, or CATIA.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, accuracy, decisiveness, efficiency, and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken (Dutch is an advantage).
- Willingness to undergo a security screening as part of the hiring process.
- Permanent EU citizenship and a valid EU passport are required due to the nature of the projects.
