Wat ga jij doen als IT Audit Reviewer?

The Global Audit Quality Monitoring Group (GAQMG) is focused on improving audit quality across the member firm network and reports to the Global Risk Management - Audit Partner. The team is resourced through Managed Collaboration, whereas individual team members are contributed by the respective Member Firms. Funding from KPMGI has been allocated to increase the size of the team.  The team is led by Scott Henderson, Partner Risk Management from the US firm. The team is structured to include roles at Partner, Director and Senior Manager levels, attending to the above scope. None of the roles are expected to span over all five activities. Senior Managers operate under the supervision of Partners and Directors.

Jouw uitdagingen

• Performance and oversight of QPR inspections of Listed and Related Entities (LREs) across the network of member firms
• Support member firms outside US and Canada in relation to PCAOB inspections
• Support for monitoring of member firm implementation of system of quality control (ISQM-1)
• Monitor and support of member firms in the performance of root cause analysis (RCA)
• Special Projects, e.g., IOGC and in-flight type reviews of selected audit engagements

Dit neem jij mee

• More than 7 years experience as an IT Audit Professional;
• Advanced working knowledge of PCAOB Auditing Standard;
• Exposure to reviews/inspections such as QPR;
• Certified Information Systems / Auditor;
• Ability to explain complex matters simply.
