We are looking for a full-time Planning & Customer Service employee for our customer in Venlo, one of the largest logistics service providers in the world.

As a Planning & Customer Service employee at Geodis in Venlo, you work for various customer relationships. The Planning and Customer Service department is the first point of contact for customers with regard to providing advice, accepting and handling complaints and contributing ideas and offering solutions. You handle telephone conversations about bookings, complaints and all other matters. This with the aim of providing both the customer and the internal organization with the necessary information. This way you not only build a bond with your colleagues, but also with your customer(s). You are also responsible for order processing, scheduling the drivers, and correctly handling administrative work.

We offer you a challenging, very diverse position within an ambitious, growing, logistics organization!
It concerns a temporary employment contract via Start People with the satisfaction of both sides with a view to a permanent employment contract with the client.
Your salary is in line with the market, scale E (€2291 to €3015) of the CAO TLN Professional Goods Transport, based on your experience and education.

Are you a strong communicator, independent, solution-oriented, enthusiastic and can you work well in a team with your colleagues? Then you just might be the colleague we are looking for! do you also meet the following points?

  • You have an MBO+ work and thinking level;
  • You have some knowledge of forwarding, transport and logistics;
  • Oral and communication skills in the Dutch language. English and German language is an advantage, important for providing the correct information to customers and suppliers;
    Experience with commercial administrative work;
  • You are Customer-oriented in contact with customers and colleagues;
  • You can issue a Certificate of Good Conduct (at the start of work and every 5 years)
  • You have experience with office applications.

Characteristics that are further important to this position are persuasiveness in giving advice and gaining acceptance and problem-solving ability to solve customer problems.
