Manpower is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner in Oude Meer.


As mentioned before, you will be responsible for the day-to-day HR operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the complete HR cycle: onboarding, talent development, and offboarding. You will function as a real expert on local legislation, digitalization of (global) processes, and further roll-out of improving working policies (work from home/employee well-being). You can further expect to perform the following working activities:

  • Supporting and advising on absence management and ARBO procedures
  • Acting as a sparring partner and coach for management and employees
  • Continuous improvement of internal policies and HR procedures
  • Developing and maintaining job descriptions and salary benchmark
  • Collecting and validating annual local Human Resources Data reports
  • Monthly reporting on local HR KPI's
  • Supporting and guaranteeing a compliant payroll administration with the support of an external payroll supplier
  • Setting up Lease car arrangements and liaising with the local Works council
  • Developing and monitoring annual and monthly budget
  • Leading company compliance with all existing governmental and labour legal and government reporting requirements

Your future employer is a large logistics service provider with a worldwide network. The organization is active in 107 different countries and focuses on air and sea freight. Together with an HR advisor and Trainee you are responsible for the day-to-day HR business. You report to the Managing Director and functional to the Human Resources Director. We will of course tell you more about the employer later in the application procedure!


Working hours

In this role, you will work during regular office hours.


  • At least a Bachelor’s or Master degree (HBO) in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Management
  • Minimum of five years’ experience as an HR manager, HR Business Partner, or comparable (preferably with a logistics organization)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR department staff members
  • Good knowledge of Dutch labour, Wet Verbetering Poortwachter, and Social law
  • Experience with continuous improvement and change processes
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English, both verbal and in writing (also confident in communicating with different level executives)
  • Experience with ADP iHCM is a plus


Preferably, you live in the Oude Meer area, for example in Schiphol, Amsterdam, Hoofddorp or Haarlem.
