Industrial Hardware Engineer (Designer)
We are looking for candidates for several Energy Sector projects. These projects will be realized at the Assen office by the Engineering Automation & Digitalization group. This group executes projects in the Netherlands and abroad/offshore for internal and external customers. Siemens Energy B.V. Process Solutions is specialized in selling, designing, building and maintaining advanced solutions used in the Energy Sector, for instance Oil & Gas industry.
Responsible for Hardware engineering of electro-technical and automation installations, basic/detailed design (Cabinet Design, I/O loops(calculations), Atex, test plans, testing of control and automation systems. You will use CAD systems such as COMOS or Eplan.
The systems are mainly based on Simatic product portfolio. The applications are specialized for the Oil and Gas Industry such as Unit Control Panels and total plant automation systems.

The candidate should be willing to work for a longer period on location and/or abroad. During all phases of a project, the hardware engineer is responsible to keep the project in budget, on time and assure quality high, while maintaining clear communication to vendor, customer and internal project team.

For the role of Hardware Engineer salary will be based on experience: €3000 - €4500 excl. holdiday allowance.

Minimum bachelor completed training (Electrical engineering), with at least 3 years’ experience as hardware engineer.
