Job summary
Cloud computing solutions are complex, and require consulting not only on the technical solution, but also on commercial aspects and cultural change. Customers look at the market leader Amazon Web Services (AWS) for guidance and advice. As an Account Manager (m/f/d), you are responsible for acquiring new SMB customers and growing high-potential customers across the existing set of customers in an assigned geographical area (territory). You will act with autonomy to deliver against your growth targets. To meet these goals, you will act as Account Manager with selected customers of your region and use strategic up-selling, cross-selling and data-driven sales approaches to reach more customers and scale the business in your territory. You will collaborate with supporting teams such as the Demand Generation Team, Solutions Architects, the Partner Team and Marketing Teams.
Ideally, you will possess both a sales and technical background that enables you to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. You should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently delivers on quarterly revenue targets.

GRUNDQUALIFIKATIONEN

· First full-time experience in B2B technology related sales, channel sales, business development or sales engineering/consulting experience
· Demonstrated success record in managing customer relationships at C-level
· Strong team player who works well with other teams
· Self-starter who is prepared to work in a fast-paced, competitive and demanding environment
· Strong verbal and written communications skills
· Fluency in both English and German
· Bachelor's Degree
· Proficiency using CRM software
· Proficiency using MS Office, particularly Excel for report-creating

BEVORZUGTE QUALIFIKATIONEN

· Technology related sales, business development, or sales engineering/consulting experience.
· BA/BS degree.
· A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.
· SaaS/Cloud experience
