Drive service sales process in collaboration with the Service Sales Manager and/or Service Manager. Generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated area(s). Focus on installed base penetration (IB) and sell the entire Service product portfolio in collaboration with other ABB service units. Build long term customer relationships and ensure immediate response to specific customer needs and issues. Delivering the Electrification’s Global Markets division service portfolio to ABB end-customers in the entire Visayan Region. Constantly increasing service business from this region by driving sales volumes and margins across the Service product portfolio and by regularly updating and utilizing database for ABB and non-ABB installed base. Reporting to the Service Sales Manager, the role will be crucial in implementing the service sales strategy, establishing close contact with the end-customers by promoting value added service solutions such as digital and safety upgrade, retrofit, spares and consumables, and ABB Ability Energy and Asset Management for Electrification, global market business at Davao City and Cebu City Philippines.

Your responsibilities
  • Understanding of Electrification Service Portfolios and rightfully apply them to any electrification products
  • Establishing list of utility and industrial customers in the entire Visayan region with corresponding key contact persons from each group and level of the organization
  • Preparing, executing, and regular review account plans and propose new strategy and recovery plan as needed to deliver the given targets for a year
  • Utilizing the installed base in ServIS (the approved Service database) to identify and create service opportunities and regularly update the database with the latest changes at customer site
  • Qualifying opportunities according to forecast and upside, making sure the number and value of opportunities are enough to meet
  • Generate Service leads and develop new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information e.g. Digital, Predictive Maintenance
  • Use of ABB tools such as CCRP to address customer concerns over ABB product and after sales.
Your background
  • The ability to develop and manage customer relationships
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills, possess good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Speak local Visayan language in addition to English and Tagalog
  • 3-5 years of working experience in engineering/service sales (Candidates with working experience in Electrical system technical background seeking for a switch to client facing sales role are welcome to apply)
  • Hands on experience on Electrical Medium and low voltage products and or servicing, highly sales driven, a team player & being able to coordinate with the various team’s function
  • A degree/diploma in Electrical engineering With valid driver license
