RAL Community Care Ltd is currently recruiting Support Workers to join our team in Salisbury.
We are looking for caring, reliable and compassionate individuals who have a minimum of 6 months' experience working in a healthcare, social care or care environment.
As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care and practical support to service users, helping them maintain their dignity, independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to service users.
* Assist with personal care and daily living activities where required.
* Support service users with mobility and other care needs.
* Assist with nutrition, hydration and mealtimes.
* Provide emotional and practical support.
* Encourage service users to maintain their independence.
* Observe and report any changes in a service user's health or wellbeing.
* Follow individual care plans and support plans.
* Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
* Work effectively with nurses, senior carers and other healthcare professionals.
* Follow safeguarding, health and safety and infection control procedures.
* Respect the privacy, dignity, rights and choices of every service user.
* Report any concerns, incidents or safeguarding issues promptly.
Requirements
* Minimum 6 months' previous experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, Healthcare Assistant or in a similar care role.
* A caring, compassionate and person-centred approach.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Reliable, punctual and professional.
* Ability to follow care plans and workplace procedures.
* Understanding of confidentiality, dignity and safeguarding.
* Willingness to complete required training and compliance checks.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Satisfactory pre-employment and compliance checks.
Pay & Benefits
* £12.71 – £13.00 per hour
