The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The role:
You will support new product development through electronic circuit design, PCB layout, product testing, and long-term evaluation, while playing a key role in innovation and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
* Create schematic designs and PCB layouts
* Select components and build full BOMs
* Design PCB‑based solutions for control modules, sensors, communication devices and power systems
* Conduct long‑term product tests and performance evaluations
* Test and fault‑find electronic products, including RMAs and goods‑in inspections
* Support in‑house and field testing for new product development
* Ensure compliance with regulations such as EMC and LVD
* Test BLE devices, firmware updates and app functionality
* Set up demo kits and train commissioning engineers
* Manage access to client apps and liaise with software developers
* Organise prototypes and maintain master samples
* Produce wiring diagrams, test specifications and production packs
* Write reports, guidance notes and maintain project documentation
* Review existing designs to improve performance and reduce cost
* Assist suppliers and manufacturers to ensure accurate builds
* Provide ongoing internal technical support
* Update the Product & Operations Director on project progress
About you:
* Experience designing electronic circuits and PCB layouts
* Knowledge of lighting controls or similar systems is desirable
* Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail
* Good organisational skills with a methodical engineering approach
* Strong communication skills and willingness to innovate
* Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience
