Our well-established independent client is looking for an experienced Property Manager to join their busy Property Management Hub based in Leytonstone E15.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Property Manager looking to join a professional and established team, offering sociable Monday-to-Friday working hours with no weekend work.
The Role
The successful candidate will help manage a portfolio of residential properties while working closely alongside an experienced team of Property Managers.
You will need to be highly organised, confident managing your own workload and capable of prioritising maintenance, compliance and tenant/landlord matters effectively.
Responsibilities will include:
* Managing a portfolio of residential rental properties
* Working closely with a team of Property Managers
* Attending and contributing to team meetings
* Coordinating property maintenance and repairs
* Liaising with contractors on behalf of landlords and tenants
* Dealing with legal notices and relevant documentation
* Handling a high volume of telephone calls and enquiries
* Ensuring compliance with current Property Management legislation and regulations
* Managing landlord and tenant queries efficiently
* Handling complaints professionally and providing effective solutions
* Maintaining company policies and procedures
* Working towards and exceeding team targets and service standards
* Delivering an excellent level of customer service to landlords and tenants
The Successful Candidate
To be considered for this position, you will need:
* A minimum of 1 year's Property Management experience
* At least 1 year's experience managing a residential property portfolio
* Experience in Property Management administration
* A good understanding of current Property Management legislation and compliance
* Experience using lettings/property management software packages
* Intermediate computer literacy
* Excellent organisation and workload-management skills
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Salary & Hours
Salary: £28,000–£32,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
No weekends – sociable working hours
