Job Title: SEN LSA

Salary: £19,000 - £21,956 per annum

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a supportive secondary academy in South Essex that is committed to providing outstanding opportunities for its students. The academy promotes a collaborative and welcoming culture, with a strong focus on high-quality teaching, learning and ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive.
The academy is looking to appoint an SEN LSA on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week during term time plus one week. The successful SEN LSA will provide classroom, 1:1 and small group support to students with additional needs, disabilities or specific medical needs, including administering medication following appropriate training.
The successful SEN LSA will have:

GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths
Experience supporting students with special educational needs or disabilities is desirable
A willingness to administer individual students' medication following appropriate training
Strong communication skills when working with students, parents, staff and other professionals
A positive and professional approach
A flexible, reliable and enthusiastic attitude
