We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurture Teacher in Luton to join our specialist provision within the education and training sector. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs, particularly those with social, emotional and mental health needs.
As a Nurture Teacher, Luton, education and training sector, you will create a safe, structured and supportive environment where pupils can develop emotional regulation, confidence and positive relationships with learning.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver tailored nurture-based learning sessions
Support pupils with SEMH and additional learning needs
Build trusting, supportive relationships with pupils
Promote emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour strategies
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and external agencies
Contribute to EHCP targets and pupil progress tracking
About You
We are looking for a Nurture Teacher in Luton who is:
A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
Experienced or passionate about SEN/SEMH education
Calm, patient and resilient
Skilled in relationship-building with vulnerable learners
Committed to inclusive and therapeutic approaches
