We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods within a warehouse or distribution environment, ensuring that operations run smoothly and deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities

Operate a counterbalance forklift to load, unload, move, and stack goods
Transport materials safely to designated storage areas
Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance needs
Assist with stock control, including picking, packing, and inventory checks
Ensure all goods are handled carefully to prevent damage
Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures
Work collaboratively with warehouse staff and supervisors

Requirements

Valid counterbalance forklift licence 
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred
Good understanding of health and safety practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
Basic numeracy and literacy skills

Desirable Skills

Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings or weekends
Additional forklift licences (e.g., reach truck)
