How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Warehouse Operative – Coleshill (£12.80 - £14.00 per hour)
    Temp to Perm | Rotating Shifts | New Site Launch | Working with beauty, clothing & household products.

    Basic hourly rate: £12.80 increasing to £14.00 when working after 10pm-6am.
    Overtime is paid at time and a half once you exceed 37.5hrs per week at £19.20 & £21.00 per hour depending on shift time.
    Are you ready to be part of something big? A brand-new, high-volume distribution site in Coleshill is ramping up operations, and we’re looking for motivated Warehouse Operatives to join the team from the ground up.
    This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading logistics company, fulfilling orders for one of the fastest-growing online retail platforms in the UK. With major investment in this site and continued growth ahead, there’s real potential for long-term progression and career development.

    Location: Coleshill
    Please note: due to limited public transport, own transport is essential or you must live locally.

    Working Hours:
    This is a 7-day operation shifts also may rotate as and when required. Some shift patterns are dependant on Area.

    10am – 6pm - Days (2 week rotation AM & PM)
    6pm – 2am – Afternoons (2 week rotation AM & PM)
    10pm – 6am  - Nights
    5 working days per week (including weekends as part of rotation)
    Required to be available 5 out of 7 days per week. – Shifts are not predominantly set AM and PM may rotate as per site requirements. Night shift is a set shift.
    Key Responsibilities:

    Accurately picking and packing customer orders
    Palletising and preparing stock for dispatch
    General warehouse duties and housekeeping
    Packing customer orders to a high standard.
    Ensuring all packed items and sorted and sent to customers officially.
    Ensuring health & safety and cleanliness standards are maintained

    What We’re Looking For:

    Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
    Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends (on a rota basis)
    Picking & packing experience preferred
    Previous use of internal warehouse systems in line with electronic picking (not required but desirable)
    Motivated and ambitious. 
    Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
    Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
