Innovation Project Lead
Theale (Reading area)
£50,000 to £65,000 plus bonus
We are hiring an Innovation Project Lead to shape and validate new digital business opportunities. This role focuses on taking early ideas through structured exploration, customer validation, and business case development to support clear investment decisions.
You will lead end to end discovery work, define hypotheses and roadmaps, and coordinate cross functional teams across insight, technology, and commercial functions. The role combines hands on delivery with stakeholder management, turning complex inputs into clear, actionable direction for senior leaders.
Key responsibilities include developing and testing early concepts using MVPs and pilots, analysing customer and market data, building business models, and supporting the transition of validated opportunities into delivery teams.
We are looking for someone with experience in digital innovation, venture development, or early stage product work. You should be confident with customer validation, problem solution fit, and experimentation methods. Strong commercial awareness, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work in ambiguous environments are essential.
Experience with Lean Startup or Design Thinking is important. Exposure to AI, IoT, or digital platforms is beneficial.
