How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Technical Sales Manager - Embedded Computing  to join our client’s innovative electronics company based in England. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for managing key accounts across markets such as Medical, Transportation, Marine, Agricultural Technology, Industrial, Aerospace, and Defence. Your responsibilities will include driving new business growth, developing bespoke embedded solutions in collaboration with partners, managing customer relationships from R&D to executive level, and executing tailored sales strategies. The role requires managing a small team and close coordination with internal departments to ensure growth targets are met and long-term partnerships are maintained. As a leader, you will manage the full sales cycle—from generating quotations to closing deals—whilst providing technical solutions to meet customer needs. You will also regularly update and leverage CRM data, participate in industry events, and stay current with market trends to identify new opportunities and expand the company's footprint in embedded computing solutions.

    Degree in electronics, computer engineering, aerospace, telecom or a related field.

    Proven experience in embedded computing sales, including platforms, boards, systems, display/monitor solutions, IoT, and AI integrations.

    Track record of managing complex sales cycles and key accounts within embedded systems and related markets.

    Familiarity with designing and selling embedded products requiring custom solutions and manufacturing..

    Valid UK driving licence and UK passport holder due to MOD contracts.
