How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

JOB TITLE: Events and Digital Marketing Executive

    SALARY: Competitive

    LOCATION: Reading – UK

Are you currently working in events and looking to join a well-known, reputable company? Are you highly organised with experience in digital marketing? Perhaps you've been supporting events behind the scenes and are now looking for a role where you can take greater ownership and responsibility?

If you answered yes to the above, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

Our client is a global provider of reliable networking devices and accessories, experiencing an impressive 40% year-on-year growth. Their products play an integral role in everyday life, and they're now looking for an Events and Digital Marketing Executive to join their Marketing team. This exciting role will see you take ownership of their busy events programme, including training events, industry exhibitions and webinars, while managing the associated digital marketing content.

JOB SPECIFICATION: Events and Digital Marketing Executive

As the Events and Digital Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for leading the company's events, webinar and training programme, ensuring every event is delivered to the highest standard. Alongside this, you'll manage the digital content that supports these activities.

    Your responsibilities will include:

Coordinating and delivering the B2B and B2C events programme from initial planning through to on-site execution, post-event reconciliation and performance analysis.
Managing event budgets, cost control and invoice reconciliation.
Developing and maintaining detailed project timelines, task lists and event plans to ensure seamless delivery.
Sourcing, negotiating with and managing suppliers, including venues, catering, production and logistics providers.
Overseeing the development of event content to the highest standards, working closely with the wider marketing team and coordinating speaker logistics.
Supporting the promotion of events through digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media and website content.
REQUIREMENTS: Events and Digital Marketing Executive

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within events and will thrive in a fast-paced environment with a busy events schedule. You'll be confident managing multiple projects simultaneously and happy to take ownership of events from concept through to completion.

This role would also suit someone who has been working in an events coordination or administration role and is now looking to step up into a position with greater responsibility.

You should also be comfortable presenting when required, introducing training sessions and assisting with exhibition stand setup and event delivery.

    Other requirements include:

Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Confidence managing multiple projects to tight deadlines.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience with digital marketing tools such as Mailchimp would be advantageous.
