Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Technical Accounting & Transaction Support
Prepare comprehensive technical accounting papers relating to group disposals and restructuring activities.
Assess and document relevant IFRS considerations and accounting treatments.
Analyse disposal groups, carrying values, transaction proceeds and associated accounting impacts.
Prepare gain/loss on disposal calculations and deconsolidation assessments.
Evaluate foreign currency reserves and other balances requiring recycling through the financial statements.
Draft accounting conclusions and recommendations supported by robust technical analysis.
Financial Reporting & Disclosures
Prepare IFRS-compliant disclosure notes relating to disposals, restructurings and significant transactions.
Draft disclosures covering areas such as judgements, estimates and complex accounting treatments.
Produce supporting journals and accounting calculations for group reporting purposes.
Prepare audit-ready documentation to support external review and challenge.
Deliver clear handover materials and technical documentation to the finance team
Profile
A successful Senior Technical Accounting Manager should have:
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
Extensive post-qualification IFRS technical accounting experience.
Strong background in M&A, disposals and corporate restructuring projects.
Proven experience preparing technical accounting papers for external audit review.
Experience within large multinational organisations.
Strong knowledge of group consolidation and deconsolidation accounting.
Excellent technical writing and stakeholder management skills.Strong working knowledge of:
Daily rate of £550 to £650, dependent on the level of experience.
