Description
Develop and implement records management policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organisational standards.
Oversee the organisation, storage, and retrieval of records and information.
Provide guidance and training to staff on records management best practices.
Conduct regular audits to assess the accuracy and efficiency of records systems.
Manage the secure disposal of records no longer required.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline information management processes.
Address any issues related to records accessibility and data protection.Profile
A successful Interim Records Manager should have:
Proven expertise in records management, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
Knowledge of legislation forming the legal framework of information management (e.g. Public Records Act 1958, Copyrights, Designs and Patents Act 1988)
Experience in information management or records management
Experience in dealing with large volumes of electronic and non-electronic information
Ability to provide clear guidance and training to team members.
Attention to detail and a methodical approach to managing information.Job Offer
Hourly rate of £23.00 to £25.00, dependent on the level of experience.
Interim role for 12 weeks.
