The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team on a fixed-term basis from the end of October 2026 through to the end of August 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who can engage and inspire middle school pupils, helping them develop confidence, curiosity, and a positive attitude towards mathematics.
Working four days per week during term time, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality maths education while supporting pupils' academic progress and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach Maths to middle school pupils, delivering engaging and effective lessons.
* Encourage confidence, enthusiasm, and curiosity in mathematics.
* Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
* Assess pupils' abilities and monitor academic progress.
* Complete all required reporting and record-keeping relating to student achievement and development.
* Provide constructive feedback to pupils and parents/carers where appropriate.
* Support the welfare, wellbeing, and learning needs of all pupils.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience teaching Maths within a school environment.
* Holds relevant teaching qualifications and QTS (or equivalent).
* Is passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential.
* Has strong classroom management and communication skills.
* Can create engaging lessons that inspire and motivate learners.
