Our client is currently searching for a Treasury Reporting Manager to join their team in London! Within this role, you would be responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant accounting and reporting of all treasury activities across the Group.
The role provides critical financial insight and control over Treasury transactions, including cash, debt, derivatives, and foreign exchange, while maintaining robust internal controls and supporting regulatory and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Treasury accounting and reporting activities, including:
Month-end close
Journal preparation
Balance sheet reconciliations
Bank reconciliations
FX rate management
Loan accounting
Derivative valuations
Interest reporting
Prepare and review Treasury-related financial reports, variance analysis
Management reporting packs
Tax reporting schedules
Budget submissions
Statutory reporting requirements
Ensure compliance with internal controls and JSOX requirements, maintain accurate accounting records across Oracle, Hyperion and related systems, support internal and external audits
Partner with Treasury, Tax and Finance teams to deliver accurate and timely financial information while driving continuous process improvements
Involvement in numerous cross-functional Treasury projects
Skills / Experience Required:
Proven experience in Treasury accounting, financial reporting, corporate Treasury, or a related finance function.
Strong understanding of Treasury accounting, foreign exchange accounting, loan accounting, month-end close processes, and financial reporting.
Experience with IFRS7 and IFR9, derivatives, financial instruments, or hedge accounting would be advantageous.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight reporting deadlines.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working within a SOX or JSOX-controlled environment is desirable.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
Experience with one or more of the following systems is highly desirable:
Oracle ERP
Treasury Management Systems
Advanced Microsoft Excel
Power BI (desirable)
