Job Title: Senior Test Design Engineer
Location: West Lothian, Edinburgh
Salary: Up to £85k (DOE)

We’re looking for a Senior Test Design Engineer to bring complex products to life, from early concept through to full-scale production. You will play a key role in the development and industrialisation of products, including the design, development, and verification of test solutions to ensure products meet the highest quality and reliability standards.
  
About the Role

Develop innovative test concepts and solutions using appropriate tools and equipment
Perform test system design, analysis, and verification
Support products across the full lifecycle (concept through to sustaining engineering)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality
Create and maintain technical documentation in line with quality and change processes
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean/Six Sigma principles
Ensure test solutions support efficient, high-quality product commercialisation About You

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
10+ years’ experience in test design or related engineering role  
Experience with Automated test systems and functional / environmental testing
Proficient in LabVIEW, Python, and TestStand
Strong knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Experience working in cross-disciplinary engineering teams
Experience with lab test and measurement equipment
