Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) Technician to join our busy bodyshop team in Gogar. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician to work with a professional team, delivering high-quality vehicle repairs in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Remove and refit mechanical, electrical, and trim components on a wide range of vehicles
* Carry out diagnostic checks and ensure all systems are fully functional after repair
* Work closely with panel beaters and paint technicians to ensure efficient workflow
* Identify and report additional repair requirements
* Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and safety standards
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an MET Technician or similar role
* Strong knowledge of modern vehicle systems, including electrical components
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Relevant qualifications or certifications (preferred but not essential)
