How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Job description

RSHP is an international architectural practice who has designed some of world’s most iconic buildings. Our portfolio of projects ranges from the renowned Lloyd’s of London building, a new distillery and visitor centre for The Macallan in Speyside, to The Leadenhall Building, an office tower which is home to the practice’s studio. Currently, we are working on a range of high-profile projects, including our first residential project in New York; an E-Sports arena outside Paris; a new distillery for Horse Soldier Bourbon in the United States, as well as innovative net zero housing using modern methods of construction in the UK.

The culture in the practice is one of sharing knowledge and coming together for discussion and teamwork. We have over 180 exceptional people from all over the world in our offices in London, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Paris who are working on projects in over 15 countries.

The successful candidate will have a key role as an embedded member of a single project team, working day-to-day alongside the project’s architects and designers to establish, coordinate and maintain the critical workflows that underpin delivery of that project. Working in close liaison with the wider Project Technology team, the candidate will support the implementation of project-specific BIM standards, workflows and digital delivery requirements throughout the work stages.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the BIM set-up for the project based on its specific BIM requirements and advise the project team on best practice.
  • Prepare and maintain the project’s BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
  • Establish project workflows based on agreed BIM standards.
  • Coordinate agreed workflows with the project’s design consultants and external collaborators.
  • Prepare project-specific training documentation for the project team.
  • Coordinate the project model and information production using the agreed project standards.
  • Maintain and adjust the project standard documentation throughout the project’s work stages.
  • Support workflow improvements and, where appropriate, coordinate with the central Project Technology team on automation opportunities.
  • Support project-specific training, onboarding and guidance for the project team, drawing on support from the central Project Technology team.
  • Provide first-line support to the project team on BIM / CAD authoring workflows, escalating technical software or systems issues to the central Project Technology team where required.
  • Provide hands-on technical assistance to the project team using design authoring tools.
  • Contributes to project delivery through production of drawings and models, high-quality visual communication, and development of complex Revit families.
  • Develop and communicate procedural workflows within the project team and feed lessons learned back to the central Project Technology team.
  • Report to the Project Lead / Project Architect and work closely with the central Project Technology team to align project delivery with the practice’s wider digital strategy.

Qualities and Skills required:

  • Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and project BIM coordination workflows.
  • Experience of working in a project-based coordination role for CAD or BIM applications.
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information.
  • Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks.
  • Resilient to cope with conflicting demands, able to prioritise duties and work effectively under pressure while always remaining calm and professional.
  • Self-motivated and able to take responsibility.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Experience working in an architectural production environment.

Desirable:

  • Microstation or AutoCAD or Rhino
  • Navisworks, BIMcollab.
  • Autodesk Construction Cloud, Newforma.
  • Power BI analytics
  • Knowledge of ISO 19650 workflows
  • Visual programming, e.g. Dynamo or Grasshopper / Rhino Inside
  • Adobe Suite
