Help Build a Different Kind of College
At ONELAB College, we're redefining education for young people aged 16–25 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
We believe education should be creative, practical and connected to the real world.
Through our Design > Make > Sell philosophy, learners don't simply study—they design, create, collaborate and build the confidence, independence and skills they need to thrive beyond education.
Behind every exceptional learner experience is an exceptional organisation.
That's why we're looking for an outstanding College Administrator.
This is not a traditional administration role. It is an opportunity to become a key part of a growing college where organisation, professionalism and operational excellence directly support learner success.
About the Role
As College Administrator, you'll sit at the centre of ONELAB's day-to-day operations, working closely with the Principal and Senior Leadership Team to ensure the college runs smoothly, professionally and efficiently.
You'll help create an environment where learners feel safe, families feel confident, staff are well supported and visitors experience ONELAB as organised, welcoming and aspirational.
Your work will underpin many of the systems that make high-quality education possible, including learner administration, attendance, safeguarding processes, communication, reception, qualification administration and operational coordination.
If you're someone who enjoys creating order from complexity, anticipating problems before they arise and making things run seamlessly behind the scenes, this role will be incredibly rewarding.
What You'll Be Doing
As our College Administrator, you'll play an important role across the organisation by:
- Managing reception and creating a professional front-of-house experience.
- Maintaining accurate learner records and Arbor MIS.
- Supporting attendance monitoring and safeguarding administration.
- Coordinating awarding body administration, learner registrations and qualification records.
- Supporting meetings, reports, communication and administration for the Senior Leadership Team.
- Maintaining organised office systems, resources and operational processes.
- Acting as a professional point of contact for learners, families, staff and external agencies.
Every detail matters because every detail contributes to a positive learner experience.
Who We're Looking For
This role will suit someone who takes genuine pride in their work.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised and exceptionally reliable.
- Calm, professional and solution-focused.
- Proactive and able to anticipate what needs doing.
- Confident managing multiple priorities without compromising quality.
- An excellent communicator with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with digital systems, data and administrative processes.
- Passionate about contributing to an ambitious organisation that is making a genuine difference.
You're the type of person people rely on because they know you'll follow things through, communicate clearly and maintain high standards, even when things get busy.
Why Join ONELAB?
ONELAB is more than a college.
We're building a new model of education where creativity, enterprise and high expectations help young people with SEND realise their potential.
When you join ONELAB, you'll become part of a team that believes:
- Every learner deserves an exceptional experience.
- Professionalism and kindness go hand in hand.
- Strong systems create the foundations for great education.
- Every member of staff has a meaningful role in shaping learner outcomes.
You'll have the opportunity to contribute to a growing organisation, work alongside passionate professionals and play an important role in helping build something purposeful and lasting.
Is This You?
You're looking for more than your next administration job.
You want to be part of a team that's ambitious, values high standards and believes the work behind the scenes matters just as much as the work in front of learners.
You enjoy bringing structure to busy environments, solving problems before they become issues and helping others do their best work.
Most importantly, you believe that every young person deserves an organisation that is calm, professional, well organised and built around their success.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
