Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across key processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the purchase ledger, including processing invoices and reconciling supplier statements
Performing bank reconciliations
Assisting with VAT returns
Maintaining accurate financial records and postings
CIS
Assisting with payroll processing
Essential:
Previous experience in a bookkeeping or assistant accounting role
Strong knowledge of purchase ledger and reconciliations
Experience with VAT and payroll processes
Proficient in Sage 50
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
