We are currently recruiting an experienced FLT Counterbalance / Goods In Operative to join a well-established, global manufacturing organisation operating at the forefront of its industry.
This is a full-time role starting on an agency temp-to-perm basis, offering long-term stability and progression. The role is based in a busy manufacturing and distribution environment and involves working both indoors and outdoors.
Shift Pattern:
Week 1 - Days
Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
Friday: 6:00am - 1:00pm
Week 2 - Lates
Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm - 9:30pm
Friday: 1:00pm - 7:00pm
Pay Rates:
£14.14 per hour (starting rate)
£14.77 per hour after 12 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
Safe and efficient operation of a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
Goods In duties including unloading, checking, and booking in deliveries
Movement and storage of materials across internal warehouse areas and external yard areas
Supplying materials to production as required
Maintaining accurate stock records and supporting inventory control
Following all health & safety, quality, and site procedures
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping
Requirements:
Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (in date)
Previous experience in Goods In, warehouse, manufacturing, or yard-based roles
Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
Ability to work rotating days and lates shifts
Strong health & safety awareness
Reliable, proactive approach with good attention to detail
Team player with a strong work ethic
