The school provides a welcoming and caring environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential through a nurturing and inclusive approach. Staff work closely together to create a positive learning atmosphere that supports both academic and personal development.
The school is looking to appoint a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant on a day-to-day basis, with both part-time and full-time opportunities available. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will be supporting students with PMLD, delivering tailored interventions and providing classroom support to ensure every child receives the highest standard of care and education.
The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:
• Experience supporting children within an educational setting
• Experience working with children and young people with PMLD
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A caring, patient, and adaptable approach
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
